They generally take place on the first Friday of each month, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., alternating between Lake Benson Park and the White Deer Park Classroom in Garner. The bird walks are currently scheduled through August, 2026, except in July, when the bird walk takes place the second Friday, due to the Independence Day holiday.
