On May 8, 2026 at 7 PM join us for the Premier performance of “Lamar the Super Guitar,” the second installment of the JazzTales series by Trinity Bursey and Gregg Gelb. “Lamar the Super Guitar,” is a children’s book by Trinity Bursey, which is illustrated by John Schull and accompanied by a new jazz score by Gregg Gelb and performed live by the Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra. This project is supported by the 2025-26 South Arts Jazz Road Creative Residency and we have support also from the Unit
