Abigail Ross PhD Student, Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and INSTAAR, University of Colorado Boulder. Wednesday, July 29 at 7:00 pm Location: Megaron, Mountain Research Station ---- Microorganisms (microbes) such as algae and bacteria are the best chemists alive and play major roles in the global cycling of important nutrients like carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorous. Alpine watersheds are unique ecosystems that receive water from glaciers, rock glaciers, and snow melt, but they are also changing
