Cirrus Aircraft is an American company that designs and builds small personal airplanes. It was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Duluth. Cirrus is one of the most well-known manufacturers of “general aviation” aircraft—planes used for personal travel, training, and business (not commercial airlines).
