He discovered tea in 2737 BC while boiling water in the shade of a tree. A light breeze caused a few leaves to fall into his boiled water, producing a delicate liquor and perfume. When the Emperor tasted it he found it to be delicious and from there tea was born! Our goal at Sil (pronounced see-lay, which means “Be Still” in Latin) Tea is to create that same organic experience where a simple pause can stimulate a simple idea, an aha moment, or find a new love for tea! Our room/cafe’ is a cozy oasis for tea lovers to savor over 50+ organic loose-leaf, herbs, matcha, and mushroom teas and embrace mindful appreciation in a serene environment.
