Ann Freeman Dance Academy is pleased to announce two end-of-year recitals at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center on Sunday, May 31, 2026, and will be performed by our AFDA students, staff, and guests. Our Older Student Ballet recital, “La Boutique Fantasque,” is a whimsical comic ballet about a magical toy shop where dolls come to life after hours. Set in France, the story follows a toymaker whose dancing dolls are purchased by different families, only for the toys to escape rather than be separated
