5 pm – 8:00 pm. Each December, the Winter Solstice marks the beginning of the winter season in the Northern Hemisphere, and the longest night of the year. Individuals are asked to bring a handmade lantern that lights up the night, to guide each other along the walk. Participants can enter the Riverwalk at any time - there will be no 'Walk Start" line up this year.​ Enjoy the Solstice Market with local artists, live music, hot drinks, warm food, and more to be enjoyed before and after the walk.
