MASS is a nonprofit social Carolina Shag dance club based in Southern Pines. Dances take place the first Saturday of each month from 7:00pm-10:00pm at The Lodge at Hyland Golf Club in Southern Pines. Different Shag DJs are featured each month and occasionally feature the club features a popular Beach Music band. Membership: $20 for the year and $10 per dance. Guests: $15 2026 Social Dates: 1st Saturdays 7pm-10pm January 3rd, February 7th, March 7th, April 4th, May 2nd, June 6th, (Friday) July 10
