Annual Swain County Heritage Festival — Friday night (6pm – 9 pm) & Saturday (10am – 5pm) Gospel music Friday night. On Saturday, the music starts and lasts all day! Bluegrass, country, folk, and little bit of everything! The crowd gathers at noon for the kids' burlap sack races and a log-sawing contest with an antique cross-cut saw, with prizes and bragging rights.
