In honor of World Ranger Day, join a ranger at Boone Fork Parking Area (milepost 299.9 on the Blue Ridge Parkway) for a short stroll along the Tanawha Trail. Learn what rangers do on a day-to-day basis, how we got our job, and feel free to ask us questions! This short, 1/4 mile easy hike ends at a beautiful bridge over the Boone Fork Creek. Feel free to continue your hike onto Grandfather Mountain State Park trails from here, or turn around and walk back with the Ranger. Please wear appropriat
