Join Tryon Palcae as we celebrate our county’s semiquincentennial–the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! The day will begin with a performance by the Tryon Palace Fife and Drum Corps and an Interpretive Reading of the Declaration of Independence by the front gates of Tryon Palace. After the reading, the Grounds and Gardens will be open to the public until noon. Immediately following the reading, the Fife and Drum Corps will march off the Palace Grounds to take
