Pender County Parks and Recreation is hosting The Freedom Swing Homerun Derby on June 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Hampstead Kiwanis Park (Guine Field). The event features free activities, games, and prizes, with derby entry fees of $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Participants should bring their own bat. Youth rounds begin at 4 p.m., followed by adult rounds at 5 p.m. Concessions will be available, and registration can be completed online at www.pendercountync.gov/parksandrec
