Friends of Lower Haw is partnering with NC State Parks to offer this free event. Learn some history of Bynum Mill at the Haw River, then float ¾ mile down the river in tubes. We will put-in at Bynum Mill Access parking area and float downstream to the take-out at Pokeberry Creek. This event involves walking back to the put-in location at Bynum Mill Access, about a ¾ mile walk through the woods on uneven terrain. Tubes and life jackets will be provided.
