Join the Historical Hearth Cooks on May 30 as we demonstrate how laundry was done. From mending, repairing and pre - treatment of stains, to boiling the clothes and beating them with a bucking board, we will spend the day demonstrating the different equipment, techniques, and methods used to keep the clothes and linens as clean as possible.
