upper cases is an independent band from North Carolina. Blending elements of psychedelic, experimental, and dream pop, they have adopted ANON stage personas to shift the audience's focus away from the musicians themselves and onto the music and the stage show. Rather than wearing masks or costumes, they use backlighting during their performances to create a distinctive, mysterious visual experience.
