ECU Health Cancer Care offers free low-dose CT \(LDCT\) lung cancer screenings for eligible uninsured individuals. LDCT is a proven screening tool that can detect lung cancer early, when treatment is often most effective. Individuals may qualify if they are ages 50–80, have a significant smoking history, currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years, and have no signs or symptoms of lung cancer.
