The 16th Asheville Butoh Festival welcomes Yumiko Yoshioka and Scoop Slone. Yumiko is an internationally renowned butoh artist. Her world tours have taken her to six continents. In Asheville, she will teach two 4-hour workshops and perform her acclaimed solo, **“100 Light Years of Solitude,”** inspired by Gabriel Marquez’s novel. This work is the second part of a trilogy.
