Founded in 2015, The Petty Thieves are a good time band playing their favorite Tom Petty songs. They are not Petty impersonators per se, just fake Heartbreakers playing with the rock-n-roll style and energy of a live Petty show. The Petty Thieves are based out of Raleigh/Chapel Hill, NC and started when members Matt Daniels (Tom) and Will Boone (Mike Campbell) began playing together at various open mics in the area.
