Summer in the Hamptons inspires one to try to capture the local beauty. This class will focus on flowers. The luminous quality of watercolor lends itself to painting the delicate flower form. Examples of drawings and paintings of flowers will be shared and watercolor techniques demonstrated. Imagine a local farm, field or garden. Time will be allowed for you to loosely paint your image as background. Students will be encouraged to experiment with watercolor techniques and then refine the flower
