Join Ranger Mandy for a very strenuous 4 mile out and back hike and learn about the natural and cultural history of the highest mountain range in the Eastern US. Meet at the State Park office at 9am. We will begin our hike on the commissary trail. The trailhead is located at the office. This hike is very strenuous, experienced hikers only. Bring water and wear closed toed shoes. Prepare for extreme weather changes, the weather can change very quickly at high elevations.
