The patriot Continental Army was led by brilliant Commissioned Officers such as Nathanael Greene, Daniel Morgan, Light Horse Harry Lee, William Washington, and John Eager Howard, who came from other states to fight in the Carolinas at the head of highly trained Continental infantry and cavalry and brave southern militia.
