A visually striking choreopoem that blends spoken word and movement, Kintsugi: Art of Scars directly confronts actions of assault and abuse experienced by so many and moves to a place of healing. Poet and performer Cameron L. Mitchell spearheads this bold new work in collaboration with choreographer and dancer Thea Jones and a company of four vibrant women who together tell meaningful stories of living with difficult memories, finding a voice, and discovering the beauty amidst the emotional scar
