This class explores ways to incorporate embroidered stitching into mixed-media artworks on paper and fabric. Techniques introduced include using hand-printed and hand-painted fabric, image transfer techniques, paper weaving, fiber collage, and cyanotype. Each class features a demonstration of a different technique combined with different types of stitches used in unconventional ways.
