The Open Theater Workshop will be putting on a production of The Alchemist’s Comedy… or Tragedy, an original play by Evelyn Richardson, a local Philadelphia playwright. The play will be running at SideQuest Theatre from May 9th-17th, 2026 – 2030 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19103. In this new play written in verse, the audience controls Aurelia’s most fateful decision; deciding whether the story reaches a comic or tragic conclusion.
