The Jazz Dancer and the Drummer" is a collaboration with the Urban Dance Education Project and Drumming musicians. This artistic event will allow dancers and musicians an evening of dance and drums to open up the symbiotic relationship between movement and rhythm. For the Dancer: Dancing to live drums is more exhilarating than recorded music, as vibrations are felt physically by the dancer. For the Drummer: The Heartbeat: Drums are the foundation for community celebration and spiritual grounding
