This presentation will explore the biology and history of the purple martin, the conservation challenges impacting the species, effective techniques for colony attraction and management, and opportunities for community involvement in local purple martin projects. Certified Environmental Educator Courtney Rousseau is the President and co-founder of the North Carolina Purple Martin Society, which was estab
