Luna brings their signature blend of dreamy guitars, wry lyricism, and late‑night cool to the Haw River Ballroom. Formed in 1991 by Dean Wareham after the breakup of Galaxie 500, Luna quickly became one of indie rock’s most distinctive voices, releasing seven acclaimed studio albums before stepping away in 2005. A decade later, the band reunited with renewed energy — touring in 2015 and releasing two new recordings in 2017: A Sentimental Education, an album of covers, and A Place of Greater Safe
