Department chairs occupy a unique position between faculty and administration, often leading through influence as much as authority. This session explores how chairs can build trust, strengthen relationships, and communicate with empathy, transparency, and credibility to create a healthy and productive departmental culture. This is the first in a series of workshops this year that will be facilitated by Zayd Abukar with EAB.
