Fishing is a fun and inexpensive way to celebrate Independence Day! The NC Wildlife Resources Commission invites anglers and would-be anglers of all ages to go fishing for free on July 4th. Everyone in NC (residents and non-residents) can fish in any public body of water, including coastal waters, without a fishing license.
