The Capital City Marching Festival began in 1993 and has been hosted by several Austin-area high schools throughout its history. Since 2001, the Liberal Arts and Science Academy \(LASA\) has played an active role as host or co-host, proudly continuing CapCity’s mission to showcase the talent, hard work, and creativity of student musicians from across Central Texas.
