Experience paddling on one of Virginia's most beautiful and historic waterways: the James River. Your guide will provide an overview of safety and paddling techniques, flora and fauna of the river ecosystem, as well as interpretation of historical features along the river dating back to the 1800's. Conditions permitting, the tour will cover five miles of tranquil river, starting at Launch A and ending at Maidens Landing. What to Expect: Due to the steep banks and mud from fluctuating water level
