Clark \(Chiwetel Ejiofor\), owner of a struggling furniture store, finds that his basement storage area contains a doorway to an extradimensional nightmare space - a mostly featureless, uncanny landscape of bland yellow walls and drop ceilings, like if hell was constructed from the hallway outside your orthodontist's office. As his obsession with the space grows, he attempts to map the bizarre rooms and strange collections that he finds. That same obsession leads his therapist, Mary \(Renate Rei
