(GEORGETOWN, Texas) — Georgetown Art Center will present *Papers*, a solo exhibition by Austin-based Mexican-American artist Bernie Diaz, on view **July 2 through August 2, 2026.** Papers features small-scale abstract paper assemblages and collage-derived paintings that explore identity formation, fragmentation and historical revision. Through layered words and images, Diaz obscures origins, questions meaning and highlights the tension between clarity and obscurity. The exhibition will include a
