Hailing from Jacksonville Florida, Ricardo plays the saxophone in a soulful, and raw way across genres including jazz, calypso, funk, and hip hop. Musically raised in Charlotte through the Jazz Arts Initiative, Ricardo has gone on to share the stage with names such as Lovell Bradford, Ashlin Parker, Jeremy “Bean” Clemmons, and many more. Ricardo is a Jazz Studies major at the award-winning North Carolina Central University, and plans to continue pursuing a career in music.
