Jim "Moe" Mulqueen, who had worked with Walt as a roadie for Pantera was chosen as their vocalist. Dave Gryder was the band's drummer. The name Rotting Corpse was chosen when no other thrash bands existed in the Dalla s-Arlington-Ft. Worth, Texas.
