REGISTER HERE Throughout history, artists have experimented with wax, fabric, pigment, metal, and glass to create expressive and symbolic artworks. In this camp, we’ll explore how ancient art-making techniques like batik, encaustic, and gilded mosaics can inspire new creative directions. Students will work hands-on with traditional materials and reinterpret them through a contemporary lens, experimenting with resists, mixed-media layering, transparency, and texture.
