REGISTER HERE Blending creativity with cultural heritage, students will explore the artistic traditions of Appalachian culture through a series of hands-on crafts. They will begin the week creating vibrant painted barn quilts and learning basic weaving techniques with natural materials. They’ll spend the remainder of the week further developing their weaving skills to make reed baskets and needle felting a landscape.
