Shakespeare’s royal romance with an enchanted ending. What starts as a celebration in the court of Sicily turns sour once its King Leontes believes that his wife has forsaken him for his childhood friend. After the downfall of a kingdom and a 16-year “winter” of reflection, this tale erupts into spring, revealing new love, revelry, and forgiveness. And, of course, the most famous stage direction in Shakespeare: “Exit, pursued by a bear.” Estimated run time: 75 minutes | Recommended for ages 12\+
