Join a Ranger for a guided paddle on the Cape Fear River and learn about the plants, animals, and ecology of the area. Participants must bring their own kayak, life jacket, and paddle or rent a kayak and gear through Paddle NC: https://paddlenc.com/ Meet in the Marina, next to the Paddle NC boat rental shed. Space is limited to 15 people with a minimum age requirement of 13 years old. Registration is required. Call 910-707-6050 or email carolina.beach@ncparks.gov to register.
