The Greater Jamesport Civic Association will host New York Citizen Preparedness Training on June 11 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Jamesport Meeting House, 1590 Main Rd., Jamesport. The class is free and open to the public with advance registration. Developed by and offered through the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, the training teaches residents how to plan for protecting themselves in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. Topics include developing a
