Mike Baxter, Professor in the History Department at Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC and local Archaeologist, discusses the Battle of Kings Mountain with a focus on the local people from present day Lincoln and Gaston Counties that fought at the battle. This program will be held at the Gaston County Public Library (Main Library) in the Carol K. Reinhardt Auditorium. This event is free to the public and recommended for teens and adults.
