With many voting by mail locally, there could be delays in knowing final results of the primaries, with Election Day on Tuesday and initial results released shortly after the close of polls and the last voter voting. In tight races without much in person turnout, it could be several days before final results are known. According to the Nevada Secretary of State website for mail in ballots being dropped off at voting centers, these need to be deposited by 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday night to be counted.
