An investigation is underway after a person died in a house fire in West Philadelphia Friday afternoon. The fire started at a two-story rowhome on the 300 block of North Edgewood Street at 12:18 p.m. Firefighters rescued a person from the roof and placed the flames under control at 12:47 p.m. They also found a person who died inside the home. They have not yet released the victim’s identity. The Fire Marshal is investigating the fire while the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death o
