Why is my metabase embedded dashboard only showing metabase icon in my app?

This happens if the site URL is not set properly in Admin or if the client is blocked from or is unable to access that URL. The browser dev tools’ Network tab can help diagnose the issue. In some cases it can be due to a firewall, WAF, or HTTP security header settings. If you’re not sure, embed the dashboard anyway and try to access it. Depending on how the network is implemented, it may work fine there while not working in the Metabase app.
